2. Description of Service
Proofly is an AI-powered toolkit that provides content detection, plagiarism checking, grammar checking, text humanization, paraphrasing, summarization, file conversion, file extraction, and AI chatbot services. The platform is accessible via web browser and does not require software installation.
3. User Accounts
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding the password used to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Proofly only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or access controls

5. AI Detection Disclaimer
Proofly's AI detection tools provide probabilistic assessments of whether content was generated by AI. These results are intended as a review aid and should not be used as the sole basis for academic disciplinary action, legal proceedings, or employment decisions. Detection scores reflect statistical analysis and may produce false positives or false negatives. Users are responsible for interpreting results in context and exercising independent judgment.
6. Content and Data
You retain ownership of any content you upload to or create through Proofly. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the requested service (e.g., detection, grammar checking, paraphrasing). We do not use your uploaded content to train our AI models.
Uploaded documents, detection history, and chat conversations are retained for a limited period as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
7. Pricing and Payments
Proofly offers free and paid plans. Free accounts are subject to usage limits as displayed in the application. Paid plans are subject to the pricing and billing terms presented at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in our refund policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Proofly service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Proofly and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.
9. Third-Party Services
Proofly integrates with third-party AI models and services to provide its functionality. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services. Use of certain features may be subject to the terms and conditions of those third-party providers.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
11. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Proofly, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Proofly makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the service, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of AI-generated results.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or via email. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
